Siinsele publikule on teos hea sissevaade 21. sajandi esimese veerandi kodumaale \u2014 paraadfotode ja -lugude asemel on pilt kodusem, argisem, vahetum. V\u00f5i nagu kirjutas T\u00f5nu fotode kohta National Geographicu kauaaegne ajakirjanik, v\u00e4liseestlane Priit Vesilind: \u201cTo its credit, Runnel\u2019s work lifts the curtain on a less sophisticated Estonia than I\u2019m used to seeing as an Estonian American. It reminds me of Estonia in the 1970s and 1980s; I can almost smell it.
