Taras Bychko, Tania Ruda ja Vira Minailova (Vera Verseau)
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Fotografiska Tallinn presents three remarkable contemporary Ukrainian photographers: Taras Bychko, Tania Ruda, and Vera Verseau. Their perspectives on the difficult past years blur the boundaries between past and present, as their work captures experiences of hardship and emotional resilience – displacement, pain, injustice, courage, and a hope that never fades. With a strong aesthetic voice and visual language, they explore how the body remembers and forgets, and how the surrounding environment responds to these internal states. Their works raise questions that are not meant to be answered, but rather felt and contemplated.
Below is a selection of photos, the sizes of which can be found by clicking on the photo. If you are interested in purchasing, a contact form is also provided with each photo. All photos are framed, the photo was printed using Epson's Ultrachrome pigment ink technology.
